I have spent a couple of days at Arrawarra, some 30km north of Coffs Harbour in coastal New South Wales.
This morning’s walk yielded some delightful images, courtesy of the resident sand bubbler crabs which ingest detritus and plankton and discard the residue in the form of tiny balls of sand.
This image reminded me of a dragon.
Another resembled a bird.
And then, a finger pointed the way …
.. to one of the artists, relaxing beside its burrow before disappearing below ground.
Nature is the consummate artist, creating beauty for those who take the time to see.
